Property

There are still a large number of property insurers participating on energy risks. Rates are increasing, but not as aggressively in some of the other lines of business. Most property is being written on a non-admitted basis.

Liability

Many wholesalers and MGA's have lost their liability facilities. Those remaining are very busy and minimum premiums are increasing.

Pollution/Environmental

Chartis, Zurich, ACE and Lloyds are the leaders in this market. Full occurrence pollution is available. Underground Storage Tank coverage is readily available as well.

Well Control

Domestically, Chartis and St Paul are the primary markets. Lloyds remains a big player offshore.
